Day 1 - Meeting at Gabarone

Arrival at Gaborone – 1 night; Accommodation in B&B

Meeting at Gaborone the day before our expedition starts on Day 2, at Gaborone Sir Seretse Khama International Airport a group dinner in Gabarone.

Day 2, 3 - Game driving days

Khutse Game Reserve – 2 nights; Accommodation in Camping

The trip will start by driving to Khutse Game Reserve (KGR) after early breakfast Setting up the camp where we will have a Tour briefing in KGR Campsite, and have our First Game drive in the afternoon.

Next day will also consist of 2 Game drives in the Reserve

Day 4~8 - wildlife wonders

Central Kalahari Game Reserve – 5 nights; Accommodation in Camping

We will depart from KGR in Game drive mode early in the morning as we are moving into Central Kalahari Game Reserve driving up to North in Game drive Pace and Mode.
Camping in CKGR will be at different locations including Xaka, Piper Pan, Sunday Pan, and Deception Pan, where we will have Game drives in the mornings and afternoons.

Possible Animal Sightings: Black-maned lion, leopard, cheetah, caracal, african wildcat, wildebeest, hartebeest, oryx, kudu, springbok, steenbok, meerkat, honey badger, porcupine, very rare but pangolin, ground squirrel, reptiles (cape cobra and puff adder), cape fox, bat-eared fox, black-backed jackal, spotted and Brown hyenas as well as raptors, vultures, and other smaller birds…

Day 9 - Civilization

Maun – 1 night; Accommodation in Lodging

Exiting CKGR and driving to Maun after the breakfast, accommodation in Lodging in Maun for Relaxing Day after several days of camping deep in Kalahari, guests, and staff will complete Personal and Logistical Shopping in Maun for the second stage of our expedition.

Day 10, 11 - Pan & Plains

Nxai Pan National Park – 2 nights; Accommodation in Camping

Heading back into the wild we will be driving to Nxai Pan National Park, setting up the camp and having a good lunch at a campsite, with a Game Drive in the afternoon.

Another Game dearly in the morning scanning the great plains and the salt pans for wildlife action, and repeating it in the afternoon again. 

Day 12, 13 - Riverbed game drives

Makgadikgadi Pan National Park – 2 nights; Accommodation in Camping

We will have another Game drive early in the morning and driving to Xhumaga Campsite of Makgadikgadi National Park in Game Drive Mode setting up the camp at Xhumaga, with another Game drive in the afternoon.

The next day we will be going on an early morning Game drive along the Boteti Riverbed, with another Game drive in the afternoon.

Day 14 - Relaxation time

Gaborone – 1 night; Accommodation in B&B

The next morning we will be driving back to Gaborone after breakfast Accommodation will be in a B&B in Maun,

felaxing evening before you board your planes to homelands the next day.

Day 15 - final fairwels

Departure to Homelands

Our last day will transfer to Sir Seretse Khama International Airport to catch your flight to Johannesburg, where we will say farewell with lots of quality time memories along with lots of quality images.

What is Included:

  • The tour is mostly full board - all inclusive at locations where we camp. The same statement applies in locations where guests stay in lodges if the facility embodies campsite since, we – the staff will be camping and eating in the campsite. Guests are welcome to join;

  • All game drives (safari) activities that we conduct and mentioned within the itinerary;

  • Boat Ride on Zambezi River in Victoria Falls;

  • Boat Rides on Chobe River and in Okavango Delta;

  • All transfers.

What is Excluded:

  • International Flights;

  • Scenic Flight(s) over Central Kalahari or Makgadikgadi and Nxai Salt Pans;

  • Personal Travel Insurance;

  • Dinners or any other courses that guests would like to eat out where it is possible, and where the facility (lodges and guest houses) has its own service;

  • Please note that, we will have a limited selection of Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic beverages on board. If you need a specific brand of beverage, please feel free to bring it along or let us know in advance to have it on board;

  • All game drives (safari) activities that we are not allowed to conduct by ourselves, such as bush walks, night drives that are only conducted by park and reserve rangers;

  • Activities that we have to buy from third parties upon guests’ request that may occur at locations, and not listed in mutually agreed itinerary before the tour starts.
